Position: Formulation Development Scientist

Function : Formulation Development (Biologic’s)

Department: Research & Development (R&D)

Location : Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra

Desired qualification and experience : M. Pharm. / M. Sc. / Phd with 4-8 year experience in Biological formulation development.

As a Formulation Development Scientist at Wockhardt R&D, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations for oral, injectable, or other dosage forms. This role plays a crucial part in the drug development lifecycle, from pre-formulation studies to technology transfer for commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct pre-formulation and formulation development of new drug products.
2. Select suitable excipients and develop robust, stable formulations.
3. Prepare prototype batches and conduct stability studies as per ICH guidelines.
4. Work closely with analytical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project progression.
5. Support technology transfer to manufacturing sites and assist in scaling up processes.
6. Maintain comprehensive documentation and data records as per cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

1. M. Pharm. / M. Sc. / Phd . in Pharmaceutics or related field.
2. 4-8  years of hands-on experience in formulation development.
3. Good knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and various pharmaceutical dosage forms.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
