a. 0-1 years of Post-Doc experience in the CRO industry
b. 2-7 years of experience in the CRO industry
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Scientist in Peptide Synthesis at Aragen Life Sciences in Hyderabad. The Associate Scientist will be responsible for conducting day-to-day synthesis activities, including designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to project advancement in the laboratory setting.
Skills Required:
1.Minimum of 1 year of experience in Peptide Synthesis R&D
2.Strong background in solid-phase peptide synthesis, medicinal chemistry, or a related field
3.Hands-on experience in executing chemical reactions on mg to gm scale and handling diverse resins for peptide synthesis and peptide modification (cyclization, disulfide bridge formation, stapling, derivatization, etc.)
4.Proficiency in peptide characterization techniques (LCMS, HPLC, NMR). Experience in handling automated peptide synthesizers and peptide purification is desirable.
5.Expertise in writing electronic lab notebooks, a detail-oriented approach to work and documentation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
6.Ph.D. in Chemistry or a Master’s in Chemistry/relevant discipline
7.Experience in the CRO industry
